What is The Latter Rain? It is the “extra oil” “that other angel” “the additional Light”, brought forth in power, at the commencement of the time of trouble, when you cannot buy your “daily bread”. What is this Light, that lightens the whole earth with It’s Glory? It is The Name of The Most High, that inhabiteth eternity, and Whose Name is Qodesh. And the “sabbath more fully” with His Name stamped upon His True Sabbaths as a “Seal” of His Truth.
The additional Light will include “The Right Hand” of the gospel medical missionary work. It will include the health message that Yehoshua will directly guide. I believe it will absolutely include the pattern of 10 and 5 in selecting foods that display “The Numbers of His Name Yah” of Psalms 68:4, Let him take hold of My Strength, His Name that is a tower of protection, and with “The Finger of Yah” Yehoshua cast out demons (tapeworm snakes, and smaller ones) by obedience to the 10 commandments, which abba “Yah” wrote with His Finger, which includes the 7th commandment of adultery, which excludes foods that result from adulteration of the genes He originally created, which “He saw was good”. Foods that have “the seal of His approval” “the Seal of His Name Yah” the numbers of Yah = yod=10 and he or hay=5. So to be sealed with His Name the 144,000 will “take hold of His Strength” which is His Name, that they may make peace with Him by reverencing Him and His Name and the numbers of His Name “Yah” praising and rejoicing in Him, rejoicing over the foods with the pattern of His Name “Yah”, as they experience a brighter and sharper intellect by thus increasing cellular membrane voltages of all cells in their system. And avoiding all foods that do not display the numbers of His Name “Yah” 10 and 5.

This crystalized in my mind as I arose from my knees after praying “why do foods with the pattern of 5 and 10 give energy and those that don’t take away energy, precisely how does this work?”
As I had followed very well the pattern, for four years or more, maybe 99% of the time since I had learned about this in 1985, from Dr. Norman Gonzales, a famous Naturopathic physician in Puerto Rico, as He had been teaching in S. Orlando, Fl.
When I first was trying this my intellect increased with better memory and focus and recall, than in eating endothermic foods without the pattern of His Name “Yah”, and then losing the ability to recall verbatim things I had previously read etc. Then going back to strict obedience to this diet and regaining in time those abilities.

Feet normally stand on the earth, thus this text is symbolic of “The Woman” His “True Israel”, keep the pathway of time by the Lunar Calendar, especially the 4 lunar 7 day weekly cycles of each moon, in honor of the 4 Lettters of “His Great and Glorious Qodesh Name” “Yod-He-Vav-He” imprinted upon It. And the High Qodesh New Moon Day, which if we keep we shall receive “the heritage of Jacob our father. For The Mouth of Yehovah hath spoken.” This shows it was in the torah as a command given to Moses, who heard His actual Voice speaking Torah, but since has been removed from the Torah. As Jeremiah 8:8 tells us the scribes have falsified them and written them wrong.
I believe the word “lunatic” was applied to those who refused the new roman weekly cycle and persisted in keeping the original lunar calendar with her 4 lunar based weekly cycles in honor of His Name.(because they keep time by the lunar calendar, that is they “tic and tock” by the lunar or “luna” “clock”.) Thus the weak forsake the Truth for fear of scorn.

The word of Elohim in His law is binding upon every intelligent mind. This additional Light will include the 4th commandment restored, the breach repaired, replacing the word “sabbath” wiith the word “New Moon” at the beginning of the 4th Commandment, shown on the tables of stone, at the time the sunday law is enforced. And showing His lunar calendar in Leviticus 1:1 that shows His Calendar has His Name YHVH stamped upon it, (“each sabbath institution”) with the numerical sequences each of the 4 set’s of 7 letters is preceeded with His 4 Letters of His Name, in order, YHVH. The 1st letter begins with “vav” and represents the New Moon Day, His Holy or Qodesh Day. In which we are commanded to rejoice in Him on. The second letter is “yod” then 7 letters then “he” then 7 letters, then “vav”, then 7 letters, then “he”, then 7 letters, then “mem”, a pause as The spirit/moon hovered over the face of the “deep” before creation week began, back then a 30 day moonth, then the last letter “resh” representing the “head corner” of the next moon, which is always the 1st day of the moonth. As the flood account shows the moonths were 30 day moonths. Perhaps when the sun went backward, 10%, after King Hezekiah’s prayer, the moon fell a little closer to the earth making it’s rounds (sun making an extra “round” above the moons’) to be 29.5 days approximately, after that event.

These last verses in the old Testament, show us that the Sealing Truth in the Latter Rain is about worship and worshipping at the correct Address, that is the correct address of His Name “Yehovah”, and the loving appelation of calling Him “Abba Yah”.
It is the Light also of His “Modeim” upon which His Name is stamped as a seal. It is the Light of His True Health Reform message, which also has the seal of His Name in Psalms 68:4, at which the saints shout “HalleluYah”. It is not the SDA hospital worldly system. Yes the breach of all translations, including the masoretic text, from “New Moon” to “Sabbath”. Restoring the “True Sabbath Institution” Ellen White speaks of, from the false institution of the planetary week, to the Divinely instituted “Lunar Week”.

IN THE MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER THAT LIGHTENS THE EARTH WITH ITS GLORY, they will see only SOMETHING which in their blindness THEY THINK DANGEROUS, SOMETHING WHICH WILL AROUSE THEIR FEARS, and (they) will brace themselves to resist it. Eternal Truth, which we have adhered to from the beginning, is to be maintained in all its increasing importance to the close of probation. The trumpet is to give no uncertain sound. We must DEVISE AND PLAN WISELY, PRACTICING SIMPLICITY and the STRICTEST ECONOMY and MANIFESTING THE MESSIAH’S LIKENESS OF CHARACTER. Faith, eternal faith in the PAST and in THE PRESENT TRUTH is to be talked, is to be prayed, is to be presented with pen and voice.
The third angel’s message in its clear, definite terms is to be made the prominent warning. All that it comprehends is to be made intelligible to the reasoning minds of today. While we bind ourselves to the development of the truth in the past angels’ messages, we are announcing the message of the third angel and of the OTHER ANGEL THAT FOLLOWS the third, THE SECOND TIME PROCLAIMING THE FALL OF BABYLON.
We are to give the message, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. . . . Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:1,4). This message is to come to the churches. We are to consider the best plans for accomplishing this. The message must be so presented as to command the attention of reasoning minds.
These SACRED TRUTHS, believed and practiced, are not to be carried in any coercive manner, but in the spirit of the Master. The Holy Spirit will reach noble minds and the better spirit of men. In all our sanitariums there should be men who understand the doctrine of truth and who can present it by pen and voice. They will be brought in contact with men of no mean minds, and they should plead with them as they would plead with an only son. It should be our aim, saith Yehovah, not to put in responsible positions of trust men who are not fitted by experience, men who do not take deep views of Scripture truth.
Many suppose that appearance and style and pretense are to do a great work in reaching the higher classes. But this is an error. These persons can read these things. Appearance has something, yes, much to do with the impressions made upon minds, but the appearance must be after a Elohimly sort. Let it be seen that the workers are bound up with Elohim and heaven. There should be no striving for recognition by worldly men in order to give character and influence to the work in these last days. Consistency is a jewel. Our faith, our dress, and our deportment must be in harmony with the character of our work, the presentation of the most solemn message ever given to the world. OUR WORK IS TO WIN MEN TO BELIEF OF THE TRUTH, to win by preaching and by example, also by living Elohimly lives. THE TRUTH IN ALL ITS BEARINGS IS TO BE ACTED, SHOWING THE CONSISTENCY OF FAITH WITH PRACTICE. The value of our faith will be shown by its fruit. Yehovah can and will impress men by our intense earnestness. Our dress, our deportment, our conversation and the depth of a growing experience in spiritual lines, all are to show that the great principles of truth we are handling are a reality to us. Thus the truth is to be made impressive as a great whole and command the intellect. Truth, Scripture truth, is to become the authority for the conscience and the love and life of the soul.
And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT as we went forth and PROCLAIMED THE SABBATH MORE FULLY. THIS ENRAGED THE CHURCH AND NOMINAL ADVENTISTS, as they could not refute the SABBATH TRUTH. And at this time, Elohim’S CHOSEN, ALL SAW CLEARLY THAT WE HAD THE TRUTH, AND THEY CAME OUT AND ENDURED THE PERSECUTION WITH us.

All those who are indifferent and excuse themselves from this WORK, waiting for Yehovah to do for them that which HE REQUIRES THEM TO DO FOR THEMSELVES, will be found wanting when the meek of the earth, who have wrought HIS JUDGMENTS, are hid in the day of Yehovah’s anger. I was shown that if Elohim’S PEOPLE make no efforts on their part, but wait for THE REFRESHING to come upon them and remove their wrongs and correct their errors; if they depend upon that to CLEANSE THEM from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and fit them to engage in the LOUD CRY OF THE THIRD ANGEL, they will be found wanting. THE REFRESHING OR POWER OF Elohim comes only on those who have PREPARED THEMSELVES FOR it by doing the WORK which Elohim bids them, namely, CLEANSING THEMSELVES from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting HOLINESS in the fear of Elohim.

I saw that many were NEGLECTING THE PREPARATION SO NEEDFUL and were looking to the time of “REFRESHING” and the “LATTER RAIN” to fit them to stand in THE DAY OF Yehovah and to LIVE IN HIS SIGHT. They had NEGLECTED THE NEEDFUL PREPARATION; therefore they could not receive the REFRESHING that all must have TO FIT THEM TO LIVE IN THE SIGHT OF A HOLY Elohim. Those who refuse to be HEWED BY THE PROPHETS and fail to PURIFY THEIR SOULS IN OBEYING THE WHOLE TRUTH, and who are willing to believe that their condition is far better than it really is, will come up to the time of the falling of the plagues, and then see that they needed to be HEWED and SQUARED for the BUILDING. But there will be no time then to do it and no Mediator to plead their cause before the Father. Before this time the awfully solemn declaration has gone forth, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” I saw that none could share the “REFRESHING” unless they obtain the VICTORY over every besetment, over pride, selfishness, love of the world, and over every wrong word and action. We should, therefore, BE DRAWING NEARER AND NEARER TO Yehovah AND BE EARNESTLY SEEKING THAT PREPARATION NECESSARY TO ENABLE us TO STAND IN THE BATTLE IN THE DAY OF Yehovah. Let all remember that Elohim is HOLY AND THAT NONE BUT HOLY BEINGS CAN EVER DWELL IN HIS PRESENCE.

The BRAIN is the organ and instrument of the MIND and controls the whole body. In order for the other parts of the system to be healthy, the BRAIN must be healthy. And in order for the BRAIN to be healthy, THE BLOOD MUST BE PURE. If by correct habits of eating and drinking THE BLOOD IS KEPT PURE, the BRAIN will be properly nourished. Elohim, the great Architect, has built these lofty mountains, and their influence upon climate is a blessing to our world. They draw from the clouds enriching moisture. Mountain chains are Elohim’s great reservoirs, to supply the ocean with its water. These are the sources of the springs, rills, and brooks, as well as the rivers. They receive, in the form of RAIN and SNOW, the VAPORS with which the ATMOSPHERE is CHARGED, and communicate them to the parched plains below.
We should look upon the IRREGULAR MOUNTAINS of the earth as Elohim’S FOUNTAINS OF BLESSINGS from which flow forth the waters to supply all the living creatures. Every time I look upon the mountains I feel gratitude to Elohim….
Everything about us teaches us from day to day lessons of our Father’s love and of His power, and of His Laws that govern nature and that lie at the foundation of all government in heaven and in earth. Our High Calling, p.253
Elohim endowed man with so great VITAL FORCE that he has withstood the accumulation of disease brought upon the race in consequence of perverted habits, and has continued for SIX THOUSAND YEARS. This fact of itself is enough to evidence to us the STRENGTH and ELECTRICAL ENERGY that Elohim gave to man at his creation. …Those who make determined efforts in the name of the Conqueror to overcome every unnatural craving of appetite will not die in the conflict. In their efforts to control appetite they are placing themselves in right relation to life, so that they may enjoy health and the FAVOR OF Elohim and have a right hold on the immortal life. Our FIRST duty toward Elohim and our fellow beings is that of self-development. Every faculty with which the Creator has endowed us should be cultivated to the highest degree of PERFECTION, that we may be able to do the greatest amount of good of which we are capable. In strength of intellect, men who now live can bear no comparison to the ancients. There have been more ancient arts lost than the present generation now possess. For skill and art those living in this degenerate age will not compare with the knowledge possessed by strong men who lived near one thousand years.
Men before the Flood lived many hundreds of years, and when one hundred years old they were considered but youths. Those long-lived men had sound minds in sound bodies. Their mental and physical strength was so great that the present feeble generation can bear no comparison with them. Those ancients had nearly one thousand years in which to acquire knowledge. They came upon the stage of action from the ages of sixty to one hundred years, about the time those who now live the longest have acted their part in their little short life time, and have passed off the stage. Those who are deceived, and flattered on in the delusion that the present is an age of real progress, and that the human race has been in ages past progressing in true knowledge, are under the influence of the father of lies, whose work has ever been to turn the truth of Elohim into a lie. The Savior of the world had no controversy with Satan, who was expelled from heaven because he was no longer worthy of a place there. He who could INFLUENCE THE ANGELS OF Elohim against their Supreme Ruler, and against His Son, their loved Commander, and enlist their sympathy for himself, WAS CAPABLE OF ANY DECEPTION. Elohim is seeking to fit us for everlasting life. He longs that His people shall catch the strains of heavenly music, for He is our crown of rejoicing. He has put a new song on our lips, even thanksgiving unto our Elohim. Penitence mingled with thanksgiving should be our experience every day. “Ye are not your own, for ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohim in your body, and in your spirit, which are Elohim’s” [1 Cor. 6:19, 20]. A bare assent to the truth is not Bible religion. . . . There are many Yahdians whose hearts are encased in a self-righteous armor that the arrow of Yehovah, barbed and true, aimed by angel hands, would fail to pierce. The truth glides off, and the soul is not wounded. Man must first seek Elohim for himself, then the Holy Spirit will take the precious truth, far above the price of rubies, as it falls from the lips of Yehoshua, and convey it, a living power, to the obedient heart. The history of the past shows an active working devil. He can no more be idle than harmless. Satan was found in ONLY ONE TREE to ENDANGER THE SAFETY of Adam and Eve. He planned to attract the holy pair to THAT ONE TREE, that they might do the VERY THING Elohim HAD SAID THEY SHOULD NOT DO—EAT OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE…
If men would STAND THE TEST WHICH ADAM FAILED TO ENDURE, and would, IN THE STRENGTH OF Yehoshua, OBEY ALL THE REQUIREMENTS of Elohim, because they are RIGHTEOUSNESS, then they would never become acquainted with the objectionable knowledge. Elohim never designed that men should have this KNOWLEDGE WHICH COMES OF DISOBEDIENCE, and which, carried into practice, ends in eternal death. When men almost invariably choose the knowledge that Satan presents; when their taste is so perverted that it craves that knowledge as though it were a fountain of supreme wisdom, then they give evidence that they are separated from Elohim, and are in rebellion against the Messiah. How BEAUTIFUL the earth was when it came from the Creator’s hand! Elohim presented before the universe a world in which His all-seeing eye could find no spot or stain, no defect or crookedness. Each PART of His creation occupied the place assigned it, and answered the purpose for which it was created LIKE THE PARTS OF SOME GREAT MACHINE, PART FITTED TO PART, and ALL WAS IN PERFECT HARMONY. Peace and holy joy filled the earth. There was no confusion, no clashing, there was no disease to afflict man or beast, and THE VEGETABLE KINGDOM WAS WITHOUT TAINT OF CORRUPTION. As the angel from heaven rolled away the stone, the other entered the tomb, and unbound the wrappings from the body of Yehoshua. But it was the Savior’s hand that folded each, and laid it in its place. In His sight who guides alike the star and the atom, there is nothing unimportant. Elohim is a Elohim of ORDER, everything connected with Heaven is in PERFECT ORDER; subjection and thorough discipline mark the movements of the Angelic Host. Not one noxious plant was placed in Yehovah’s great garden, but after Adam and Eve sinned, poisonous herbs sprang up. In the parable of the sower the question was asked the Master, “Didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? how then hath it tares?” The Master answered, “An enemy hath done this.” All tares are sown by the evil one. The opposition and misrepresentation of the priests and rulers, while it could not turn them away from the Messiah, still caused them great perplexity. They did not see their way clearly. The INFLUENCE of their early training, the teaching of the rabbis, the power of tradition, still intercepted their view of TRUTH. The Desire of Ages p. 412
Those to whom the message of TRUTH is spoken seldom ask, “Is it true?” but, “By whom is it advocated?” Multitudes estimate it by the numbers who accept it; and the question is still asked, “Have any of the learned men or religious leaders believed?” Men are no more favorable to real Elohimliness now than in the days of The Messiah. They are just as intently seeking earthly good, to the neglect of eternal riches; AND IT IS NOT AN ARGUMENT AGAINST THE TRUTH, that large numbers are not ready to accept it, or that it is not received by the world’s great men, or even by the religious leaders. Every human being will have to give an account to Elohim for the way in which he has used his ENTRUSTED TALENTS. We are under obligation to use our powers aright that we may be qualified for eternal life in the kingdom of Elohim. Elohim DEMANDS PERFECTION FROM EVERY HUMAN BEING. We are to BE PERFECT IN THIS LIFE OF HUMANITY, even as Elohim IS PERFECT in HIS DIVINE CHARACTER.
It was a great sacrifice The Messiah made for man in dying for him upon the cross. What are we willing to sacrifice for His love? Yehoshua says, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15)–NOT TO SELECT out one or two or nine, but the WHOLE TEN–ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS MUST BE KEPT. John tell us of those who pretend to love but do not obey Elohim’s requirements. “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him: (1 John 2:4). “For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous” (chap. 5:3)… Yehoshua was among the lowly of the earth. He did not take His position by the side of the learned rabbis or the rulers. He was not found among the potentates of earth, but among the lowly ones. The TRUTH was NEVER FOUND AMONG THE MAJORITY. IT WAS EVER FOUND AMONG THE MINORITY. This day with Elohim p. 318, 319
There is danger that men will receive the counsel of men, when by so doing they will discard the counsel of Elohim. Oh, what lessons all must learn before they will understand that Elohim seeth not as man seeth. Yehovah says: “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways….For as the heavens are higher that the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8,9. Unless there is a decided reformation among the people of Elohim, He will turn His face from them. Testimonies for the Church Vol. 8, p. 146
As the Light and Life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of The Messiah, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of The Messiah’s withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. When the Reformers preached the Word of Elohim, they had no thought of separating themselves from the established church; but the religious leaders would not tolerate the light, and those that bore it were forced to seek another class, who were longing for the truth. In our day few of the professed followers of the Reformers are actuated by their spirit. Few are listening for the voice of Elohim, and ready to accept truth in whatever guise it may be presented. Often those who follow in the steps of the Reformers are forced to turn away from the churches they love, in order to declare the plain teaching of the Word of Elohim. And many times those who are seeking for light are by the same teaching obliged to leave the church of their fathers, that they may render obedience. The Desire of Ages p. 232
In preparing the way for The Messiah’s first advent, he was a representative of those who are to prepare a people for Yehovah’s second coming. The world is given to self-indulgence. Errors and fables abound. Satan’s snares for destroying souls are multiplied. All who would perfect holiness in the fear of Elohim must learn the lessons of temperance and self-control. The appetites and passions must be held in subjection to the higher powers of the mind. This self-discipline is essential to that mental strength and spiritual insight which will enable us to understand and to practice the sacred truths of Elohim’s word. For this reason temperance finds its place in the work of preparation for The Messiah’s second coming. The Desire of Ages p. 101
We are to bear testimony of the great truths which Elohim has committed to us. The Sanctuary in Heaven is the very center of The Messiah’s work in behalf of men. It concerns every soul living upon the earth. It opens to our view the plan of redemption, bringing us down to the very close of time, and revealing the triumphant issue of the contest between righteousness and sin. It is of the utmost importance that all who have received the light, both old and young, should thoroughly investigate these subjects, and be able to give an answer to every one that asketh them a reason of the hope that is in them.
The intercession of The Messiah in man’s behalf in the Sanctuary above is as essential to the plan of salvation as was His death upon the cross…and through His mediation the sincere desire of all who come to Him in faith may be presented before Elohim. Spirit of Prophecy Vol. 4, p. 313, 314
The prophets wrote more for our time than their own–Never are we absent from the mind of Elohim. Elohim is our joy and our salvation. Each of the ancient prophets spoke less for their own time than for ours, so that their prophesying is in force for us. “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 1 Cor. 12:11. “Not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from Heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.” (1 Peter 1:12). The trials of the children of Israel, and their attitude just before the first coming of The Messiah, have been presented before me again and again to illustrate the position of the people of Elohim in their experience before the second coming of The Messiah. How the enemy sought every occasion to take control of the minds of the Jews, and to-day he is seeking to blind the minds of Elohim’s servants, that they may not be able to discern the PRECIOUS TRUTH. There has not been so glaring a departure from Elohim. The effort to unite the teachings of Yehoshua with the established religion would be vain…The instrumentalities to be used in the gospel work are those souls who gladly receive the light which Elohim sends them. These are His agencies for imparting the knowledge of truth to the world. If through the grace of The Messiah His people will become new bottles, He will fill them with new wine. These Pharisees had not accepted the mission of the Baptist. They had pointed in scorn to his abstemious life, his simple habits, his coarse garments, and had declared him a fanatic. The Desire of Ages p. 275
The SPIRIT OF PERSECUTION will not be excited against those who have no connection with Elohim, and so have no moral strength. It will be aroused against the FAITHFUL ONES, who MAKE NO CONCESSIONS TO THE WORLD and WILL NOT BE SWAYED BY ITS OPINIONS, ITS FAVOR, OR ITS OPPOSITION. A religion that bears a living testimony in favor of holiness, and that rebukes pride, selfishness, avarice, and fashionable sins, will be hated by the world and by superficial Yahdians…. When you suffer reproach and persecution you are in excellent company; for Yehoshua endured it all, and much more. If you are faithful sentinels for Elohim, these things are a compliment to you. Had men ever been obedient to the LAW OF TEN COMMANDMENTS, carrying out in their lives the PRINCIPLES OF THESE TEN PRECEPTS, the CURSE OF DISEASE now flooding the world WOULD NOT BE. HE PROCLAIMS HIS LAW SO DISTINCTLY AND MAKES IT SO PROMINENT, THAT IT IS LIKE A CITY SET ON A HILL. ALL ACCOUNTABLE BEINGS CAN UNDERSTAND HIS LAW, IF THEY WILL. IDIOTS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE. How opposed is all this to the work that must be accomplished in us just previous to receiving the gift of immortality. The human organism is the handiwork of Elohim. The organs employed in all the different functions of the body were made by Him. Yehovah gives us food and drink, that the wants of the body may be supplied. He has given the earth different properties adapted to the growth of food for His children. He gives the sunshine and the showers, the early and the latter rain. He forms the clouds and sends the dew. All are His gifts…
But all these blessings will not restore in us His moral image unless we cooperate with Him, making PAINSTAKING EFFORTS to KNOW OURSELVES, to UNDERSTAND HOW to CARE for the delicate human machinery. Man must DILIGENTLY help to KEEP himself in HARMONY with NATURE’S LAWS. He who COOPERATES WITH Elohim in the work of keeping this wonderful machinery in order, who consecrates all his.powers to Elohim, seeking intelligently to obey the LAWS OF NATURE, stands in his Elohim-GIVEN MANHOOD, and is recorded in the books of heaven as a MAN. Many, under different circumstances have listened to the voices of the inhabitants of other worlds. They have come to act a part in this life. They have spoken in assemblies, and opened before assemblies human histories, and have done works which it was impossible for human agencies to do. Time and again have they been the generals of armies. They have been sent forth to cleanse away pestilence. they have eaten at the humble board of families. If the Bible were studied as it should be, men would become STRONG in INTELLECT. The subjects treated upon in the WORD of Elohim, the DIGNIFIED SIMPLICITY of ITS UTTERANCE, the NOBLE THEMES which IT PRESENTS TO THE MIND, develop FACULTIES in man which CANNOT OTHERWISE be developed. In the Bible, a boundless field of opened for the imagination. The student will come from a contemplation of its grand themes, from association with its lofty imagery, more pure and elevated in thought and feeling than if he had spent the time in reading any work of mere human origin, …
Elohim would have us avail ourselves of every means of CULTIVATING and STRENGTHENING OUR INTELLECTUAL POWERS. We were created for a HIGHER, NOBLER EXISTENCE THAN THE LIFE THAT NOW IS. THIS TIME is one of PREPARATION FOR THE FUTURE, IMMORTAL LIFE. …These TRUTHS will do a MIGHTY WORK for man, if he will but FOLLOW WHAT THEY TEACH. But how little the Bible is studied! Every unimportant thing is dwelt upon in preference to its themes. If the Bible were read more, if its TRUTHS were better understood, we should be a far more ENLIGHTENED AND INTELLIGENT PEOPLE. ANGELS from the WORLD of LIGHT stand by the side of the EARNEST SEEKER AFTER TRUTH, to IMPRESS and ILLUMINATE his mind. Yehoshua had come to teach the meaning of the worship of Elohim, and He could not sanction the mingling of human requirements with the divine precepts. They urged Him to receive the maxims and traditions that had been handed down from the ancient rabbis, but He asked for their authority in Holy writ, He would hear every word that proceeds from the mouth of Elohim; but He could not obey the inventions of men. And not even love and respect for His parents could turn Him from obedience to Elohim’s word. It is written was His reason. The Desire of Ages p. 84,85
With the same carefulness are we to treasure the bread from heaven to satisfy the needs of the soul. By every word of Elohim we are to live. Nothing that Elohim has spoken is to be lost. Not one word that concerns our eternal salvation are we to neglect. Not one word is to fall useless to the ground. Ministry of Healing p. 48

In the presence of the witnessing Universe, He testified that it is a less calamity to suffer whatever may befall than to depart in any manner from the will of Elohim, “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Elohim.” The Desire of Ages p 121
While He did not give countenance to drug medication, HE SANCTIONED THE USE OF SIMPLE AND NATURAL REMEDIES. The Desire of Ages p. 824

Of all the lessons to be learned from Yehoshua’s first great temptation, none is more important than that bearing upon thecontrol of the appetites and passions… His example declares that our only hope of eternal life is through bringing the appetites and passions into subjection to the will of Elohim. While The Messiah accepted invitations to feasts and gatherings, He did not partake of all the food offered Him, but quietly ate of that which was appropriate for His physical necessities, avoiding the many things that He did not need. His disciples were frequently invited with Him, and His conduct was a lesson to them, teaching them not to indulge appetite by overeating or by eating improper food. He showed them that portions of the food provided could be passed by, and portions chosen.
The Messiah went to these feasts because He wished to show those who were excluding themselves from the society of their fellowman, how wrong their course of action was, He wished to teach them that truth was given to be imparted to those who had it not. If they had truth, why keep it selfishly to themselves. The world is perishing for want of the living truth. Manuscript Releases, Vol. 7, page 412, pr. 01

It has a great deal to do with one’s capability. Every minister should feel that if he would be a faithful guardian of the flock, he must preserve all his powers in condition for the best possible service. Never let the opposition or the kind entreaties of friends gain ground on you. Ever hold on your way, and by all proper means labor to impress those around you with the importance of the subject. Elohim has placed it in our power to obtain a knowledge of the laws of health. He has made it our DUTY to preserve our physical powers in the BEST possible condition, that we may render to Him acceptable service. Those who refuse to improve the light and knowledge that has been mercifully placed within their reach, are rejecting one of the MEANS which Elohim has granted them to promote spiritual as well as physical life. LIVING WATERS-A DREAM
My husband attended meetings in New Hampshire and Maine. During his absence I was much troubled, fearing he might take the cholera, which was then prevailing. But one night I dreamed that while many around us were dying with the cholera, my husband proposed that we should take a walk. In our walk I noticed that his eyes looked bloodshot, his countenance flushed, and his lips pale. I told him that I feared that he would be an easy subject for the cholera.
Said he, “Walk on a little further, and I will show you a sure remedy for the cholera.”
As we walked on, we came to a bridge over a stream of water, when he abruptly left me and plunged out of sight into the water. I was frightened; but he soon arose, holding in his hand a glass of sparkling water. He drank it, saying, “This water cures all manner of diseases.” He plunged in again out of sight, brought up another glass of clear water, and as he held it up repeated the same words.
I felt sad that he did not offer me some of the water. Said he: “There is a secret spring in the bottom of this river which cures all manner of diseases, and all who obtain it must plunge at a venture. No one can obtain it for another. Each must plunge for it himself.” As he drank the glass of water, I looked at his countenance. His complexion was fair and natural. He seemed to possess health and vigor. When I awoke, all my fears were dispelled, and I trusted my husband to the care of a merciful Elohim, fully believing that He would return him to me in safety. In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. The Messiah gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the Ten Commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of the Messiah. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the Moral Law, and they clearly and definitely explained that Law. They were not to do this from motives of resentment or through wounded dignity, but to show how grievous a thing it is to refuse Yehoshua’s message or His messengers. To reject Yehoshua’s servants is to reject the Messiah Himself.
Our condemnation in the judgment will not result from the fact that we have been in error, but from the fact that we have neglected HEAVEN-SENT OPPORTUNITIES for learning what is TRUTH. The Desire of Ages p. 489, 490

STRICT INTEGRITY should be cherished by every student. Every mind should turn with reverent attention to the REVEALED WORD OF Elohim. LIGHT AND GRACE WILL BE GIVEN to those who thus OBEY Elohim. They will behold WONDROUS THINGS OUT OF HIS LAW. GREAT TRUTHS that have lain unheeded and unseen since the day of Pentecost, are to SHINE from Elohim’S WORD in their NATIVE PURITY. To those who TRULY LOVE Elohim the Holy Spirit will reveal TRUTHS that have faded from the mind, and will also reveal TRUTHS THAT ARE ENTIRELY NEW. Those who eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Elohim will bring from the books of Daniel and Revelation truth that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. They will start into action forces that cannot be repressed. The lips of children will be opened to proclaim the MYSTERIES THAT HAVE BEEN HIDDEN from the minds of men. Wonderful possibilities are open to those who lay hold of the divine assurances of Elohim’s word. There are glorious truths to come before the people of Elohim. Privileges and duties which they do not even suspect to be in the Bible will be laid open before them. As they follow on in the PATH OF HUMBLE OBEDIENCE, DOING HIS WILL, they will know more and more of the oracles of Elohim….
In Heavenly Places p. 136 That there was to be SPECIAL LIGHT for Elohim’s people as they neared the closing scenes of this earth’s history. ANOTHER ANGEL was to come from Heaven with a MESSAGE, and THE WHOLE EARTH WAS TO BE LIGHTENED WITH HIS GLORY. It would be impossible for us to state just how this ADDITIONAL LIGHT would come. It might come in a very unexpected manner, in a way that would not agree with the ideas that many have conceived. It is not at all unlikely, or contrary to the ways and works of Elohim, to send LIGHT to His people in UNEXPECTED WAYS. Man. Rel. Vol. 13, page 334, pr. 02
The HOLY LAW SPOKEN BY Elohim FROM SINAI IS a PART OF HIMSELF, and holy men who are its STRICT OBSERVERS will alone honor Him by teaching it to others…They that minister must be HOLY, PURE, AND WITHOUT BLEMISH, OR Elohim WILL DESTROY THEM. Elohim has not changed. HE IS JUST AS HOLY AND PURE, JUST AS PARTICULAR, AS HE EVER WAS. He was not the Messiah that the Jews had looked for. So today the AGENCIES that Yehovah sends are not what men have looked for.

Elohim requires all who believe the truth to make SPECIAL, PERSEVERING EFFORTS to place themselves in the BEST POSSIBLE CONDITION of bodily health, for a solemn and important work is before us. Health of body and mind is required for this work; it is as essential to a healthy religious experience, to advancement in the Yahdian life, and progress in HOLINESS, as is the hand or foot to the human body. Elohim requires His people to CLEANSE THEMSELVES from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of Yehovah. All those who are indifferent and excuse themselves from this WORK, waiting for Yehovah to do for them that which He REQUIRES THEM TO DO FOR THEMSELVES, will be found wanting when the meek of the earth, who have wrought HIS JUDGMENTS, are hid in the day of Yehovah’s anger.
I was shown that if Elohim’S PEOPLE make no efforts on their part, but wait for THE REFRESHING to come upon them and remove their wrongs and correct their errors; if they depend upon that to CLEANSE THEM from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and fit them to engage in the LOUD CRY OF THE THIRD ANGEL, they will be found wanting. There is to be in the churches a WONDERFUL MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER OF Elohim, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before Yehovah, and OPENED THE DOOR of their heart by confession and repentance. IN THE MANIFESTATION OF THE POWER THAT LIGHTENS THE EARTH WITH ITS GLORY, they will see only SOMETHING which in their blindness THEY THINK DANGEROUS, SOMETHING WHICH WILL AROUSE THEIR FEARS, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because Yehovah does not work according to their expectations and ideas, they will oppose the work. “Why” they say, “should we not know the Spirit of Elohim, when we have been in the work so many years?” Review and Herald 11-7-1918
The GOSPEL OF HEALTH has able advocates, but their work has been made very hard because so many ministers, presidents of conferences, and others in positions of influence, have failed to give the question of HEALTH REFORM its proper attention. Let the church arise and shine. Let every family practice self-denial, doing all they can to improve their own condition. Those who are truly on Yehovah’s side will be self-denying and self-sacrificing. They will EAT and DRINK to the glory of Elohim, refusing to corrupt soul and body by intemperance. Then the condition of the church will testify that her LIGHT has not been removed. BUT if church members do not act the part Elohim has assigned them, THE MOVEMENT OF HEALTH REFORM WILL GO ON WITHOUT THEM, AND IT WILL BE SEEN THAT Elohim HAS REMOVED THEIR CANDLESTICK OUT OF ITS PLACE. The great enemy knows that if appetite and passion predominate, the HEALTH OF BODY and STRENGTH OF INTELLECT are sacrificed upon the altar of self-gratification, and man is brought to speedy ruin. If ENLIGHTENED INTELLECT HOLDS THE REINS, CONTROLLING ANIMAL PROPENSITIES AND KEEPING THEM IN SUBJECTION TO THE MORAL POWERS, Satan well knows that his power to overcome with his temptations is very small. Many professed health reformers are nothing less than gluttons. They lay upon the digestive organs so great a burden that the VITALITY of the system is exhausted in the effort to dispose of it. It also has a depressing influence upon the intellect, for the BRAIN NERVE POWER is called upon to ASSIST the stomach in its work. Overeating, even of the simplest food, BENUMBS the sensitive nerves of the brain and weakens its VITALITY. Overeating has a worse effect upon the system than overworking; the ENERGIES OF THE SOUL are more effectually prostrated by intemperate eating than by intemperate working. Why do some of our ministering brethren manifest so little interest in health reform?–It is because instruction on temperance in all things is opposed to their practice of self-indulgence. As our first parents lost Eden through the indulgence of appetite, our only hope of regaining Eden is through the firm denial of appetite and passion. Abstemiousness in diet and control of all the passions will preserve the intellect and give mental and moral vigor, enabling men to bring all their propensities under the control of the higher powers and to discern between right and wrong, the sacred and the common. All who have a true sense of the sacrifice made by The Messiah in leaving His home in heaven to come to this world that He might by His own life show man how to resist temptation will cheerfully deny self and choose to be partakers with The Messiah of His sufferings….The controlling power of appetite will prove the ruin of thousands, when, if they had conquered on this point, they would have had moral power to gain the victory over every other temptation of Satan. But those who are slaves to appetite will fail in perfecting Yahdian character. The continual transgression of man for six thousand years has brought sickness, pain, and death as its fruits. Elder Daniells drove the visitors first past the nearby temporary
General Conference headquarters at 222 North Capitol Street, and
then over to the Memorial church at 12th and M streets to see the
building for which Ellen White had helped to raise funds. Then he
drove the seven miles out to Takoma Park to the Carroll Manor
House, which had been rented for Mrs. White’s use. When they
arrived, it was still full of people cleaning, repairing, painting, and
furnishing, but a good dinner of tomato soup, hot boiled potatoes,
and greens was ready.
