Genesis 1:14 And Elohim said, Let the lights in the firmament of the heavens separate the day from the night; and they will be for signs, and for seasons(moedim appointments), and for days, and years:
The sun marks out a day, and the moon numbers the days, with conjunction being The New Moon Day, when the moon is covered-dark.
Our Creator is telling us that our calendar is under the dome, The New Moon Day, being “marked”
Exodus 20:8 Mark even Day The New Moon, to consecrate It. (The “repair” of the breach in the 1st line of the 4th Command.)
Then six days, Then the seventh day Sabbath. Four weekly cycles in a moon.
Genesis 1:2 And the earth became without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit-(Moon) of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters.
This was the time representing the New Moon Day before light was created, the moon was there in the darkness, with no light, before creation week. When the foundations of the earth were laid, when the Sons of Elohim “Shouted” for joy and gladness and happiness, rejoicing before Him.
Psalms 118:24 This is the day which Yehovah hath appointed; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psa 118:22 The stone the builders refused is become the Head of the corner.
Psa 118:23 This is Yehovah’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
The swing of the plumb-bob stone, swinging toward the east on the morning-day of conjunction determines the declaration “The new moon is consecrated”.
It is the “head” of His calendar, as illustrated hidden in Leviticus 1:1 sealed with His Tetragrammaton Name, four letters, four weekly cycles in each calendar month.
The calendar builders rejected the moon from establishing the calendar. They removed the plumb-bob’s hanging from the high ceilings of His Sanctuaries, showing conjunction morning of The New Moon Day.
This Day Is Holy
Neh 8:2 And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
Neh 8:9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto Yehovah your Elohim; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
Neh 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Elohim: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of Yehovah is your strength.
Neh 8:11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
Neh 8:12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

The prince of the host is the sun, which is the “greater light” of Genesis 1.
Dan 8:11 Yea, he magnified even to the prince of the appointed times, and by him-(the sun or solar only calendar) the New Moon Day was taken away, and the fixture (plumb-bob) was cast down.
