Early Writings page 255 "They trace down the lively oracles, but start back with trembling when they see the fourth commandment among the ten holy precepts, with a brighter light shining upon it than upon the other nine, and a halo of glory all around it" ... "Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahovah thy Elohim"

The Sabbath of the Lord

Y'hoshua raised the cover of the ark, and I beheld the
tables of stone on which the ten commandments were
written. I was amazed as I saw the fourth commandment
96
in the very center of the ten precepts, with a
soft halo of light encircling it. Said the angel, "It
is the only one of the ten which defines the living
Elohim who created the heavens and the earth and all
things that are therein."
"Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy" was not quoted above. They were expecting to see it, but it wasn't there. They were surprised to see "Remember the New Moon day to keep it Holy" in the fourth command. Could it be the illumination? as the definitions below might indicate, as "lbanah" translated as "moon" is in three scripture texts:
Song of Solomon 6:10
10 Who [is] she [that] looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon,
clear as the sun, [and] terrible as [an army] with banners?
Isaiah 24:23
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed,
when Yahovah of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients
gloriously.
Isaiah 30:26
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the
light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of
seven days, in the day that Yahovah bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the
stroke of their wound.
Compare these definitions with the visions of Ellen White about the two companies with banners, the Righteous with a pure white banner. The wicked with a black banner.
3842 lbanah {leb-aw-naw'} Hebrew: noun feminine
from 3835;
Possible Definitions:
1) moon (as white)
3835 laban {law-ban'} Hebrew: verb
a primitive root;
Possible Definitions:
1) to be white
1a) (Hiph)
1) to make white, become white, purify
2) to show whiteness, grow white
1b) (Hithp) to become white, be purified (ethical)
2) (Qal) to make bricks
Why do they "but start back with trembling"? because they are surprised when they see "Mark even day the New Moon to consecrate it" and they tremble, realizing they are keeping the wrong shabat. They "but start back with trembling" because they see "New Moon", and because they see that they are in disobedience to what is written there, the secret part that was not quoted in this reference, because it is yet to be discovered except by the earnest obedient seeker of Truth, (the 144,000) yielding implicit obedience to "every Word that proceedeth out of The Mouth of Yahovah". Comparing "Line upon Line, Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept, Precept upon Precept, here a little and there a little" Isaiah 28:10.
In page 255 in Early Writings, why is the first line of the fourth commandment left out "Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy" and not quoted with the rest of the fourth commandment? because it is false and incorrect, it was left out providentially, as the true verse gives the calendar "Mark even day the New Moon to consecrate it".
"Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy
work, and the seventh day is a shabat unto Yahovah thy Elohim." His Providence here
gives evidence that the portion left out is what is
to be repaired:
Isaiah 58:12
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up
the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called; The
repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Logical - Step 1. Announce New Moon. Step 2. Work six days. Step 3. Rest Seventh day.
Repeat steps 2, & 3, 3 times for the four weeks of the moon then repeat entire cycle
each New Moon.
This is all in fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel 7:25, and he shall think to change the calendar and the ten commandments. especially the fourth command, from "Remember the new moon day to keep it holy" to "Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy." Thus removing the "Marker-Beacon" from which to begin the count from. New moon, 6 work days, sabbath 7th day of the week, and 8th day from the marker day, the new moon. Ezekiel 46 shows us that the new moon day can never be one of the 6 work days, for it is a worship day, and is commanded to assemble at the East Gate of the Temple.
